The Pagi Bumi

The Floating Villa
33 metres of classic Phinisi, hand-built by the seafaring communities of South Sulawesi. Ironwood and teak throughout. Traditional maritime craft, built for extended time at sea.

Three AC cabins across two decks, each with en-suite bathrooms.

  • Main Deck Master Suite — King bed, private en-suite, built-in sofa.
  • Lower Deck Family Suite — King bed, twin bunk, en-suite.
  • Lower Deck King Suite — King bed, single bunk, en-suite.

Open-plan living areas clad in warm timber. The transition between inside and outside is seamless — which is the point.

The rooftop deck sits near the helm — the right place for sunrise coffee or evening cocktails while the coastline moves past.

Three chef-prepared meals daily, plus snacks. Local ingredients, a commercial kitchen, and a crew that takes the food seriously.

When anchored somewhere worth being quiet — a national park, a remote bay, a reserve where nothing else is moving — we shut down the engines and generators completely. No hum, no machinery. Birdsong, the lap of water, a coffee in your hand. It's the best part of any Pagi Bumi charter.
