With our private stairs, you have access to some of the lesser known, and harder to reach parts of the reef. We also provide a wide range of complimentary surfboards for our guests to use from our well-stocked Board Room.

The ultra-consistent waves at Uluwatu work on all tides and differently sized swells. The surf villas are positioned directly above the reef and have bird’s-eye views of every spot so you can plan your surf before your walk down. There is a channel between two waves at the bottom of our staircase, which makes paddling out a breeze when you stay with us!

From our cliff-front path, you can paddle straight into one of the most consistent left-hand reef breaks in the world. And when the swell drops, there’s no shortage of nearby spots waiting to be explored.

Direct path to the waves.

No long drives, no crowded parking lots — at Uluwatu Surf Villas, the waves are right below your feet. A stone path winds down from the cliff through lush greenery, opening onto a secluded stretch of sand where the reef begins. This is our private beach, reserved for guests, and your launch point into the Indian Ocean.

Whether you’re heading out for a dawn patrol session or slipping into the water for a lazy afternoon swim, the access is always yours. From here, you can paddle straight to Uluwatu’s world-class break or explore nearby waves depending on the tide. The return trip is just as magical — surfed-out and sun-warmed, climbing back to the villas as the sea air follows you.

From smooth, stable longboards for beginners to high-performance shortboards for advanced riders, our collection covers all styles and skill levels. We source from trusted shapers and regularly rotate boards to match the season’s conditions.

Beach Deck

Our beach deck is where time slows down and the horizon takes center stage.

Perched just above the shoreline, it’s a space designed for both surfers and spectators. In the mornings, watch the first sets roll in over coffee; in the afternoons, swap stories with friends as the light softens over the water.

The deck offers seating, storage, and an uninterrupted view of the reef — perfect for reading conditions before paddling out.

Even if you’re not surfing, it’s the ultimate place to take in Uluwatu’s legendary waves up close, camera in hand. By night, it transforms into a quiet, starlit hideaway where the ocean’s rhythm sets the soundtrack.

Board Room

Dedicated space where boards are stored, tuned, and talked about.

Racks line the walls with everything from guests’ personal boards to the villa’s own premium quiver. There’s room to wax up before a session, rinse down after, and swap stories with fellow surfers while you do. Our staff keeps the space organized and can help with small repairs or setup tweaks.

The Board Room is also a meeting point for guided surf sessions, so it naturally becomes a gathering spot for those heading out together.
